I’m going to Disney World!

Well that’s what the Cruises said this week when they went to visit Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World, Florida (my side of town). Of course, they have to take the loving family pictures to make sure they can deduct this as a working trip and of course give Suri more publicity so she can make more money than they do at a very early age.

You can even tell, in one of the pictures where, Tom’s son Connor, adopted by Nicole and him when they were married, was sort of excluded from the family unit in the pictures. Very Sad!

This is not the first time Connor has been dissed by his “father”, remember the movie premiere where he made his first acting debut? He was there by himself, no “Mommy” or “Daddy” to support him. It was the recent Will Smith movie, Seven Pounds. At least he can live in the lap of luxury for awhile, but if I were him I’d sack away my own stash just in case they tell me I’m on my own when I turn eighteen. Shameful!!

Here is the story of the Cruises at Disney World and here is the story of Connor attending his premiere alone.

It’s been a long time….

I’ve been away for awhile. I know I have not inserted any new posts in over a month but I was kind of discouraged with this whole blogging thing.

Everyone raves about this blogging thing and how so many people communicate via blogs and such, but I don’t ever see one comment on any of my posts. I know someone out there has to have something to say about what I post. Not everyone that reads these post agrees with me I’m sure. So I didn’t see a motivation to keep writing if there was no interaction.

Then something changed my mind: my stats. After a month of not logging in, I log in and find I had over 100 views last month. That’s exciting! So many people are actually viewing my posts! I like to know that I am not writing in vain and now that I know, I will keep doing it.

I just wish I could get some comments from you all. What do you guys need to spur you to take a minute to type in a comment? Do you need motivation? Should I post more controversial topics or should I keep it strictly entertainment? I’ve noticed my tv posts get the most hits, so maybe I will continue that thread.

Maybe I will set up a contest or giveaway to the person with the most comments in a month. I have to figure that one out a little more.

For now, I am back and I will be posting more often.

Thanks for visiting!

Kudos for Pushing Daisies

Pushing Daisies keeps receiving accolades even after it’s cancellation.

I found this one today.

The writer voices my sentiments exactly.

Pushing Daisies Cliffhanger

Do you believe Ned’s Dad is back?!! And he is no other than George Hamilton!!! WOW, this was going to be a great story line indeed. Too bad ABC won’t let it play out!!

I just loved Wednesday’s show, gripping until the end. Though I do wonder how they will tie up all these loose  ends in the last episode.

I keep praying another network will pick up the show, but it looks like Bryan Fuller, the shows creator, gave up on it to go back to HEROES, another show that is on the brink.

I guess people just don’t like to be entertained with really creative, funny and compelling story lines. The instant gratification generation just wants to be pummelled with reality stink. Let’s just hope and pray that some of our other faves like LOST, Desperate Housewives and some other greats can make it. Let’s help get the reality crap off the air by changing the channel or turning off the idiot box when they come on. Maybe that way some culture will come back into our lives.

Interesting article on EW about this, read it here.

Pushing Daisies Finale

Well according to what I’ve been reading there may be a decent finale to the show instead of a cliffhanger.

According to Bryan Fuller, he is altering the beginning and ending of the last show in order to make it more like a concluded finale. They don’t know yet if it will air, but let’s hope ABC will come to it’s senses and decide to do a good deed for it’s viewers.

Read about the series finale story here.

Another one of my favorites cancelled by ABC

Eli Stone was another one of my favorite new shows and it also got the ax. Like I said, won’t be watching any new shows.

This season I’ve been hit the hardest than any other season with cancellations. Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, My Own Worst Enemy.  It’s just too much!!! I’m done with new shows!! Done I tell you!!

Read the story here: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Daisies-Eli-Dirty-1000045.aspx

Pushing Daisies is cancelled.

Well, ABC did it again! Cancelled one of the best shows on the air in a long time.

I guess we will continue to watch the same old recycled shows, since the execs at these stupid stations only care about ratings.

On my end, I know I won’t be watching any new shows. I just don’t like getting into a show and then it’s pulled out from under me. I will watch what is currently out there and when I see a new show has been on for more than 2 seasons I’ll get into it. That’s how I did it for Ugly Betty and I like it that way.

Anyway, a standing ovation for one of my favorite shows!! Bravo! Pushing Daisies, Bravo!!

Stop picking on Pushing Daisies!

I just read and article on Yahoo TV that one of my favorite shows is in jeopardy!! AAAAAAHHHH!!

How could this breath of fresh air, be discarded this way? This show has such imaginative sets, scripts and writing! It is so new and different from all the same reality crap out there. It is like when you first eat a cookie you didn’t know you would like and the first sensations of the taste assault you and you feel you must have more of this wonderful taste and smell! That’s exactly how I describe it. Just imagine it, pick something you like very much to eat, smell or drink and remember the first time you ever experienced it. That same feeling is what you get by watching this heart-warming, creative and funny show.

Imagine that you could have the person you love so close, but couldn’t touch them or your favorite childhood pet is still there with you but you can’t touch him. You can solve murders easily by just asking the victims what happened, no cold cases. And you can bake the best pies, even if the fruits are rotten! Incredible I tell you! Just watch it yourself once and you’ll be hooked.

Seriously, I should do the marketing for ABC, don’t you think?
